Setting Up WalletConnect
1. Download a WalletConnect-Compatible Wallet
Ensure you have a mobile wallet that supports WalletConnect. Popular options include MetaMask Mobile, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet. Download and install the wallet from your device's app store.
2. Open Your Wallet
Launch the wallet app on your mobile device.
3. Navigate to the WalletConnect Section
In your wallet app, find the section or option for WalletConnect. This is where you will initiate the connection with dApps.
4. Scan the QR Code
When prompted, use your device's camera to scan the QR code displayed by the dApp you wish to connect to. This QR code contains the connection details for WalletConnect.
5. Approve the Connection
After scanning the QR code, your wallet app will prompt you to approve the connection with the dApp. Review the details carefully and confirm the connection.
6. Connect to the dApp
Once the connection is approved, you are now connected to the dApp via WalletConnect. You can now interact with the dApp directly from your mobile wallet.
